A little bit about myself, I Graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors in Business and in 2016 with a Bachelors in Computer Science. I currently work in the IT industry as the lead of the department performing Server support for a Small Data Center where i have been for the past 7 years.

The company I work for is a bit behind in times while still running AIX & Redhat 3 with absolutely no utilization of Virtual machines or relevant Hypervisors for that matter, leaving me in a predicament of little growth for development, or applicable skills that might enhance my value in an industry that is constantly evolving.

In response to the stagnant waters, I have taken steps to equip myself with knowledge and skillsets that would be more beneficial in positioning my value to potential employers in my own spare time. I personally like the idea of working in Infosec, leading me to building my own personal lab at home, and in an extension, this blog; to outline many of my endeavors.

Understandably many of the guides I have posted to date would appeal to beginners (Like Myself) as time progresses, so will my learning curve, and the guides that proceed will reflect that. I hope to assist and to inspire other individuals such as myself on the path to gaining more knowledge in the vast world of Network Administration / Security, and hopefully one day I will be doing guides outlining more advanced concepts including Kali Linux.

If you like the content I have posted, please feel free to subscribe, while I don’t mind the idea of a blog for my own self reflections, It would be great to see other like minded individuals benefiting it from it as well.
